I think this is the best there possible freeware program. I've been using it for years now, and it has never upset me, though it cannot integrate with windows 7 right click panel yet.

A very handy utility to open various compressed file formats. It can open the latest file compression format also. It is free software.

All I wanted is 7-Zip but inorder to get it, I had to install 4 other programs that I did not want
& freeze.com will not uninstall when you unstall the program through Windows or the program uninstall app.
Be Aware of Programs that add more programs than what you want.

It can't be 7-zip you tried to install, or, if you did it was no via the link on this site you. The 7-zip installers found on 7zip.org are all no nonsense 7-zip. No ad-, mal-, beg-, spy-ware attached.

7-Zip is very light and useful. It is free and open source unlike other programs that function at the same level.
